Care journal

Short field notes from the van. These are practical guides, not a shop catalogue, so you know what each visit is trying to protect.

Pre-wash foam

Why the first wash is touchless

Bilt Hamber snow foam sits on the panel and loosens grit before a mitt ever touches paint. Skipping that step is how swirl marks start. On a Signature visit the foam is followed by a two-bucket contact wash, then a light Koch Chemie protector.

Cabin after extraction

Stains that look permanent

Seat dye and coffee rings often sit in the foam, not on the surface. Extraction with a controlled cleaner lifts them without soaking the padding. If odour remains after a Signature visit, the Executive package adds a dedicated decontamination pass.

Water beading on coated paint

One year or seven

CarPro C-Quartz is the sensible daily-driver coating from £350. Performance PPL Reign, from £450, is the harder seven-year layer. Both need a decontamination and polish first, and both last only if later washes stay safe. We book coating days earlier in the diary so panels can cure before the evening damp.
